NeReLa team from Serbia participated at the 4th Experiment@international conference (exp.at’17) held on June 5 – 9th, 2015 at University of Algarve in Faro, Portugal. They took active role in different conference events such as Erasmus+/Tempus Project Meeting, Exhibition session (Demos’17), regular conference sessions, technical visit to the Faro Airport and so on. Members of NeReLa team presented 3 Demo papers and one full paper. Coordinator of NeReLa project, Prof. Radojka Krneta, chaired the OEEE'17 Special Session “Online Experimentation in Science and Engineering Education”.

Prof. Slobodan Dudić from University of Novi Sad participated in the 14th International Conference on Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation REV2017, which was held from 15-17 March 2017 at Columbia University, New York, USA. Prof. Slobodan Dudić presented the research paper “Remote Laboratory for Learning Basics of Pneumatic Control” submitted to REV2017 conference by the members of NeReLa team from University of Novi Sad: Brajan Bajči, Jovan Šulc, Vule Reljić, Dragan Šešlija, Slobodan Dudić, Ivana Milenković.
| 13.02.2017. | NeReLa REMOTE EXPERIMENTS DEMONSTRATED AT THE “New technologies in education” INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND TRADE FAIR |
The traditional international conference and trade fair “New technologies in education”, organized by the British Council Serbia, was held between February 9th and 11th at the BelExpoCenter in Belgrade.
Radojka Krneta and Miroslav Bjekić, professors of the Faculty of technical sciences in Čačak, presented the results of the NeReLa Tempus project on February 10th 2017, at the stand of the the Tempus Foundation and on their invitation. Promotional fliers with information about LiReX web repository and accredited program for training of secondary and specialized school teachers were distributed to interested visitors. Demonstrations of remote experiments from the LiReX web repository were also held.

Team from Serbia as well as teaching and research staff from University of Porto and University of Deusto participated at the 13th International Conference on Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation REV 2016, which was held from 24-26 February 2016, at The National University of Distance Education (UNED) in Madrid, Spain. They took active role in different conference events such as exhibition (DEMO) sessions, regular conference sessions and plenary sessions.

During the celebration of 40th anniversary of Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, University of Kragujevac, on 20th of November, 2015, the visit of Faculty’s labs was organized for the guests. Many of the guests took opportunity to see installed equipment that is purchased within NeReLa project and to get acquainted with the set of developed remote experiments in two of Faculty’s labs.

Remote experiments developed within NeReLa project at Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, was presented during the event “Researchers' Night Kragujevac” on 25th of September 2015 in Kragujevac. This event was held as a part of big yearly-organized manifestation “European Researchers' Night”. Many of young visitors had the opportunity to see demonstrations of NeReLa remote experiments via Internet.

Members of NeReLa team participated at the conference and education fair "THE ROLE OF DIRECTORS IN THE PROCESS OF EDUCATION" which was held from 25 - 27 May 2015 in Vrnjacka Banja. Coordinator of the project Prof. Radojka Krneta introduced the project during the plenary session by presentation “NeReLa project: Improving cooperation between universities and secondary technical schools through the introduction of remote experiments in teaching vocational subjects (in Serbian)”. Project poster and leaflets were exposed at the accompanying Education Fair on the stand of the main organizer of the conference, The Network of Regional centers for vocational schools teacher professional development, Serbia (NRCS).

NeReLa project was presented at the national competition in programming robots in Vocational Polytechnic School in Kragujevac. NeReLa project was presented, within the Open Doors event "Omnes in scientia - more than a game". Students of primary and secondary schools and their teachers have had the opportunity to see the performance of NeReLa remote experiments, current LiReX library of experiments and demonstration of autonomous robotic system that detects barriers and successfully avoid them. Autonomous robotic system is purchased within the equipment procurement in the project.

The Tempus project NeReLa was presented as the introductory presentation at the international conference “Pedagogical personal development in the era of Information technologies” by representative of BADEN, prof. Danijela Milosevic. The conference was held at the International University of Novi Pazar, and organized by its Department for computer sciences and Department of pedagogical sciences. The results of the Tempus NeReLa project were disseminated, as well as the future initiatives. Students and teaching staff from Novi Pazar and surrounding areas attended the conference. After the presentation there was a long discussion by students and teaching staff who participated at the conference.

NeReLa project results presented at YU INFO 2015 conference which was held at mountain Kopaonik on 8 - 11th of March 2015. Project coordinator Prof. Radojka Krneta introduced the project results by poster presentation of the paper “Introducing Remote Laboratory Experiments into Teaching Engineering”. The presentation was followed by very useful questions and discussion of present conference participants. Project leaflets were distributed to all present at the session.

NeReLa project was introduced to the wide audience attending the conference and fair New Technologies in Education 2015, which was held at Belexpocentar and in the conference facilities of the Holiday Inn Hotel in Belgrade, on 27 and 28 February 2015. Also, project website was established at the beginning of project lifetime. It is permanently updated and contains relevant information about all current, past, and planned project activities and results.
